Two new nursing courses will start next semester, July 2008.
A brand new nurse training facility has been built at TAFE NSW Riverina Institute-Griffith College.
It is anticipated the first intake for the Certificate 4 and Diploma courses will be February 2009 and,
possibly for the July 2008 intake.

This course is for people who want to work as an enrolled nurse. 
You will be required to undertake clinical work placement in a variety of approved clinical facilities,
as an associate to a registered nurse.

Also, you will learn about legal and ethical issues in health care, effective communication 
strategies, anatomy and physiology and development through the lifespan. 
A range of medical and health problems and related nursing care in a variety of contexts 
such as medical/surgical nursing, paediatrics or aged care as well as the administration 
of medication is also delivered within the course.
